You might have better luck with 'up-to-date' band info @ our myspace  emphasis on "might"

Skinheads are DUMB! So much wasted energy towards hating a non-enemy. I always knew skins were retards and saw it in action at our last show on the 10th @ the Surf City Saloon. Thankfully Thor, Odin, too much alcohol, and a black bouncer made them leave...nice to have a show with a few less idiots. My mom is off-the-boat Swedish, and my dad Danish. Kurt's background is Swedish as well. Gordon has the luck of the Irish in his chromosomes. BUT we know that WE ARE ALL FROM AFRICA! Only 0.1% of our DNA is different from person to person. So hey skinhead, you are 99.9% African, Asian, and every other 'race' (or sex) you hate...dumb indeed! Our Genome is about 6 feet long...6 x 0.1 is a measly 7 inches! Only 7 inches of DNA make you unique FROM ANY OTHER PERSON ON THIS PLANET, and NO MORE THAN 3 GENES give you your skin tone. 6 fucking alleles...SO WHAT! ALL people have SO MANY MORE SIMILARITIES than we have differences (99.9 to 0.1 in fact--think about all the similarities for a minute-- fingers, toes, hair, teeth, intestines, hearts, stomachs, assholes...). Back to the Nordic crap you revel in: If you are a "Viking," like me, then there is GOOD chance you are of MIXED blood cause the Vikings "got around" if you know what I mean...and the Phonecians had their way with Europeans as well...My dad is a "dark-Dane." Chances are at some time his ancestors 'mixed' with someone with more melanin than most Europeans have. 'White' people are 'white' and 'dark' people are 'dark' due to EVOLUTIONARY pressures, the ENVIRONMENT (in particular Latitude/Sun 'pressure'), not because having more or less melanin makes someone better or worse, but because melanin percentages help us survive and reproduce. Sure there could have been some selective breeding based on skin tone that punctuated the phenotype differences we see in humans, but for the most part humans did NOT have a freakin' choice in the matter. Skin tone IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL (unless you cover-up or hide inside). Put some Europeans in Africa for 10,000 years and they will get darker. Put some Africans in Europe for 10,000 years and they will get lighter. We are only as 'pure' as the last time our ancestor's genes crossed over with someone from another "race" which happened frequently throughout humanity's history. Using mitochondrial DNA there is world-wide scientific consensus that "we," ALL HUMANS, are all AFRICAN. I love seeing dark-haired brown-eyed skinheads...might as well hate yourself, where did that brown come from? Hint: it's not Europe. Give-it-up skinhead, you can never throw this heritage away. Besides, Africa was literate and schooled with universities LONG BEFORE the barbaric whites to the north found civility and brains, so be proud of your African past cause its so much much better than the terror white folk have wrought. Besides that, it might be wise to mate with someone with more melanin. They are more likely to survive UV skin damage-- something that seems to be on the rise.

To quote "Eracism": There is only one race- human; the rest is culture.

We got new monitors for our studio, and we are 6 months older than we were the last time I unupdated this page...Work, school, play, paying bills, looking to do some shows. We are ~half way to a new album-- 6 new songs. Check out our latest razorcake.org review...smell you later, or wait, you can smell us at the next show we do, I'll be sure to skip a few showers to keep Gordon and Kurt up front.

6-22-06

Wow, a lot can happen in three months!! I'd like to tell you about it, but can't say I'm feeling too compelled to explain everything, or anything for that matter... it's too nice outside. Come to think of it, why do we have this news page again? Gordon: surfing, boating, drinking, working... Kurt: bothering band-mates by insisting they practice, teaching, playing video games. Erik: ? (don't wanna know). So, anyway, this is the pre-show Hooh-Hah/Blah-Blah. Hope to see you there.

It's hard to believe we are almost done...for the 2nd time. Its really nice, if not fun, to get out of the studio and have someone else (with better recording equipment) push all the buttons. Eddie from VGS has been doing a great job. He has been most excellent to work with. It took one day to set up and track 14 drum tracks (ouch), and one to do all the guitar and bass tracks. It was hard work, but a lot of fun...plus we were with Eddie from VGS--twenty years of punk-ska rockin,' a good person to have behind the board. He has been really hands off and at the same time very supportive. He just wanted us to be happy with whatever sound we wanted, and he did a great job capturing that sound. We think we like it, the sound/tone that is. And we do believe it captures us as if nearly live? It seems faster than we are used to at practice, but the same as at shows. Partly cause Erik may have been a bit nervous/excited and reproduced the same adrenalin-amped speed at this recording studio as at most shows. Today we track vocals. Again, we are broke after paying for the recording and mixing, and don't know when we will release the cd. We are going to shop it with some labels and see if we get any bites.

1-23-06

OK so I lied...I am sorta happy, Kurt is happy, and Gordo really don't like the cd (parts of it). So we are going to do the whole damn thing again. You see, we took a few months to record it. Which means we had different mic placements and arrangements, which made mixing a bitch (but we still pulled it off). Suffice it to say that we are going to do it with Eddie from Voodoo Glow Skulls in Riverside, which will be way cool for us. We need to get out of our studio, and not worry about mics and levels etc. and just play and let someone else worry about it. Perhaps the next time we will do it in our studio again, but have someone else come do all the button pushing etc. Perhaps Jason from Chalkie or Matt and Jim from The Unwanted Guests

9-14-05

Overall we are happy with cd...just a few minor things we would like to change, but we can't afford to and we are kind of sick of listening to it and want to move onto the next project.

We are shopping the cd to see if some label is willing to put up with us and distribute it...we'll see. If not we will go DIY again.

5-18-05

We are now listening to the reference master before the making of the glass master for duplication...but it is pretty much done...when will it be ready for you to hear? We don't know...soon? but that could be two months...

4-01-05

we are actually sending in our new cd to be mastered...can you believe it...I doubt you do being that we have been saying this for sometime

John Golden (of the famous K-disk) will be mastering it...in Ventura

hope to do some shows soon to promote the new material

we just did a show in PARKER AZ! at Gordons new house/weekend retreat on the river...he couldn't afford one in the OC...or Riverside for that matter

10-14-04

just added: bunch of new films, and books, and some links to articles in the rants section.

Kurt is now teaching at an undisclosed private University as well as a local College at the same time...and he is getting his Masters at Chapman...he's tired a lot. He just got a new Jackson Guitar and a Mesa Boogie TriAxis too.

we are finishing the mixing...finally...and looking for a place to master the cd...but who knows when we will be able to reproduce it...when we have money or some label wants to reproduce and distribute for us

8-14-03

If you haven't noticed, I made some changes to the site. Now the Rants and News sections/pages can only be accessed through our Propaganda page.

We added a new page to the photos...photos of our studio

Gordon got a new bass and amp so we are going to re-record the bass tracks

Erik got a new 5'9" Doc fish and chip and managed to brandish two ugly dings only ten minutes apart on his fifth session with the board...bummer...one was his from his shin and one was from some dumb beeach that practically dropped her board on his head when she decided to back out too late.

7-22-03

drum tracks done, bass tracks done, and now we wait for kurt...who knows when we'll be done...next, vocals and a search for money to pay for the duplication...see us on a street corner near you begging for spare change

5-27-03

We have begun recording  the guitar and bass tracks. We only have three more drum tracks to do.

5-09-03

The drum tracks are done for 16 new songs plus one cover and one song from the EYAF cd. We hope to record two more originals and three more covers (total: 18 new songs, 4 covers, and 1 new "secret" version of a song from EYAF.)

Our merchandise is now only available @ www.interpunk.com . We are hoping to get some more t-shirts and we will try to put them on Interpunk or possibly with Gale Force Records (who we may be joining with our next cd ).

5-5-03

I'm on my way to pick up "The War on Errorism" and some brews for Gordo (that's a lie) and then head over to the studio. To do what? To finish recording!...well at least the drum tracks (we plan on 15-19 songs). Next Kurt and Gordo get to do their part while I screw off or make fun of them while they try to record.

5-2-03

"...Yeah, but when will you have the cd done so I can get it?" Oh, I didn't tell you yet? Then it's none of you damn business!... Actually, a better answer (or excuse) would be: When we feel like it, which would happen to be a soon as possible. This means whenever we're ready. Or to put it another way, when we have some money to do replication, when we're done arguing about: how to mix it, what tracks will go on it, what order they will go in, and what kind of cd sleeve crap are we gonna use?

4-7-03

Finally, it has begun. We have recorded drum tracks for 8 songs. In a few weeks they should be done as well as the guitar, vocal tracks and mixing.

2-10-03

We have begun recording, but....its going to take some time to figure out how to use the software...by April we will try to put one or two new songs on the web so you can check out some new material. Or you could come to one of the infrequent and random shows we do.

1-20-03

We are building a recording studio within our studio. EKG, by the way, if you haven't figured it out, stands for ErikKurtGordon and the heart monitor thingy (we might think of something more original later...got any suggestions?...other than "u suck" etc...). Hopefully we are capable of doing our own recording so we can save some money (and do it exactly like we want). We really liked working with Brian LaBrune at Desert Moon,  but we poor. Anyway, the money it would take for recording our music can be spent on reproduction/duplication (and the construction of our studio).

1-06-03

WE ARE, HOPEFULLY, A FEW MONTHS AWAY FROM RECORDING A 4-5 SONG EP...or Full Length...we have about 13-15 new songs at this time

We don't know when we will be able to afford duplication

WE HOPE TO RECORD A FEW COVERS AS WELL, BUT ONLY FOR PUBLISHING ON THIS SITE, "NOT FOR RETAIL SALE." End of February 03? make that April?

Novemberish of 1999 - 1-06-03

Three years with no news...oh no...oh well...we practiced, did a few shows, and did the things we do...or did...or wait...never mind
